We are all one.

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

This does not mean we are all the same. We are not. We are all unique, and every moment of every life is unique, and that is where the beauty of life springs from – the magnificence and wonder of life. It is how life works and fits together.

For what would a song be if there was just one note?

What would a garden be if there was just one flower?

What would the world be if there was just one job? One enjoyment? One love?

What would a human be if there was just one emotion?

What would life be if there was just one experience?

All of it, and all of us, are necessary to create the beauty of the patchwork of life.

For what would a painting be if there was just one colour? Just one stroke?

Therefore celebrate the diversity of life – of nature, of the earth, of humanity, of our selves.

Celebrate the diversity that supports our own uniqueness – that highlights and brings out its beauty so that it may shine.

For only at night may we see the stars.

Only with sunshine and rain can there be a rainbow.

Only with the changing of the seasons and the weather – night and day, sun and rain, warm and cold – may we live.

Change is neither good nor bad, right nor wrong. Change is simply what allows life to exist.

So celebrate your uniqueness!

Revel in each others.

See that which is different and CHEER!

See that which changes and be grateful.

For this is life, and all of life is beautiful.

Intention For The Week

Make decisions based on what it is you really want.

Simple Empowerment Steps

Joseph Campbell put it perfectly… “Follow your Bliss!”

I put it slightly differently… “Love This Moment!”

Seriously, that’s all there is to it.

This week’s quote comes from my book ‘Love This Moment’
